Our Commitment to Accessibility 

MER Notary Services is committed to ensuring that my website and services are accessible  to all individuals, including those with disabilities. I believe that everyone deserves equal  access to secure, professional online notarization services, and I am dedicated to  providing an inclusive digital experience. 

 

I am actively working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards, which are internationally recognized best practices for web accessibility. Because accessibility standards and technologies continue to evolve, I view accessibility as an ongoing effort and regularly review my website to improve usability for all visitors.​

  • Large Touch Targets: Buttons and interactive elements are sized for easy tapping  (minimum 44x44 pixels) 

  • Readable on All Screens: Content is optimized for readability on screens of all  sizes 

 

Content & Language 

  • Plain Language: Content is written in clear, straightforward language

  • Structured Headings: Pages use proper ading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3) for easy  navigation 

  • No Flashing Content: No elements flash or blink in a way that could trigger seizures

  • Professional Interpreters: Professional Interpreters: Available in 100+ languages, including American Sign Language (ASL). Interpreter services require advance scheduling and may involve an additional fee.

  • Extended Session Time: Additional time available for clients who need it

  • Technical Support: Step-by-step guidance for clients with varying levels of tech  experience 

  • Flexible Scheduling: Appointments available during extended hours, including  evenings and weekends 

  • Alternative Communication: Email, phone, text, or WhatsApp for clients who  prefer non-web communication 

 

RON Platform Accessibility 

I use multiple Remote Online Notarization (RON) platforms (Pactima, NotaryCam) that are designed with accessibility in mind, including: 

  • Keyboard navigation support 

  • Screen reader compatibility 

  • High-contrast visual interfaces 

  • Mobile device support
